My Journey

I’m doing something everyday towards learning about setting this site up. It would be nice to say that it has been a breeze, but totally inaccurate. The video instructions are ace, and I love the way the course is organised. Step by step, bit by bit – I love it and there is no question that I have learnt and continue to learn.

Sometimes I watch the video instructions twice or indeed go back to them, but eventually I seem to get the hang of it.

I’ve had help from Steve of GFX-1 Graphics who designed the Header Graphics. Wow – what a good chap. I have no hesitation in saying I would use him again. No only good at what he does but he writes an encouraging email too; and in these early days I need some encouragement.

I’ve got myself an autoresponder from Aweber. I had an autoresponder some years ago, I have no doubt I will get to grips with it shortly. I’ve had to ask the support team at Partnership2Success for some help, but I should imagine I will not be on my own, cos learning new things are difficult. Hope to get my Opt in page sorted today!

I’m also reading the Bloggers Roadmap by Daniel Sumner. He’s quite a guy; he has even produced some videos, and he has a very reassuring and laid back type of attitude If you are thinking of writing a blog yourself; and I sincerely hope you are then I would recommend you get hold of the Bloggers Roadmap by Daniel – it really is the business.

I continue to receive newsletters from Martin Avis’s Kickstart – they are so much a part of my life now I would seriously miss them. Some of you know that Martin has been somewhat unwell; but now seems to be making good progress – and I’m sure all his fans/readers are delighted.

I’ve connected to Sue Worthington – who has been with John Thornhill’s team for awhile and she just seems to be doing so well. Well done Sue I understand she made a 5 figure sum in one month – way to go girl. Sue’s from Manchester which isn’t too far from me, so I have a natural empathy with northern people.

Well I must check back on what I should be doing – and watch that I don’t just keep writing to many articles….although on the other hand I understand we need to write a fair bit; but now back to the technical stuff.

Hi Shirley, great to hear that you’re enjoying the course and progressing well.

You’re right, the instruction is great with the Partnership to Success course and the videos are really good.

Don’t think you’re alone with watching the videos more than once, I’m exactly the same but because they are generally small videos, it’s really easy just to keep playing them untill it sinks in.

Look forward to reading more posts on your blog. The header is excellent by the way.

Hi Jon, How lovely to hear from you – and thank you for your comments – and for liking my header. There sure is a lot to learn; and if there’s anyway in which I can get it wrong I do seem to be able to find it. Literally 2 steps forward and 1 back. Although it often seems perfectly clear on John’s video – when I try to do it myself – whoops. However, Gordon has kindly come to my aid today….and I have now moved on to the next video.

Once again Jon thank you so much for your comments….great to have them:-).

Thanks for this Shirley., I agree Sue Worthington is a good role model for us all. I like your holiday for dogs idea, well done and more power to you for it.
    To your success

    Hi Shirley.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog post. I too have to go back and review the videos many times, before it completely sinks in. Partnership to Success has been a great coaching program for me. I have been involved with gurus before, and have never ever got from them what I have gotten from John at P2S.I try and follow some of Johns students as well, and Sue Worthington is one of the best.
A very good blog Shirley, and I look forward to more in the future. All the best!
